Description
Origin: The state’s viticultural history dates back to the 18th century when Spanish missionaries planted the first vineyards to produce wine for Mass. Contrary to what the name suggests, White Zinfandel is a rose wine rather than a white wine.
Pretty pink color. It offers delightful aromas and flavors of red berries that are paired with hints of citrus. White Zinfandel is famous for its ripe, fruity character. On the palate, the wine is fresh and lively with an appealing aroma of strawberries and cream and a crisp, succulent finish.
Recommendations: Deliciously enjoyed and well-chilled as an aperitif, White Zinfandel is also a perfect partner to all types of foods, like cold meats, pork, ham, fresh prawns, or even fruit, especially red berries.
